Hello ^_^, many many thanks for you who already spent your time to read this article. In this article i will describe Bandung City Hall and 4 parks that located in this area. I hope you enjoyed it :)

Bandung City Hall is located between Merdeka and Wastukencana Street, a cross from Banjarsari elementary school.

People who like to play or just go shopping in Bandung Electronics Center and Bandung Indah Plaza area most likely to know this place. Especially those who used to study in Banjarsari and Merdeka Elementary School, because these school are really close to Bandung City hall. I experienced it myself when i was still in 5th and 6th grade in Merdeka elementary school, every Friday after Shalat Jumat i used to play there with my friend just chatting and taking a walk around the park.

There is a funfact about Bandung City Hall, so Bandung City Hall is used to be a coffee bean storage owned by Andries de Wilde, until year 1927 the building was destroyed and the Mayor office is builded.

The Front gate is located in Wastukencana street, meanwhile the exit is at the Merdeka street.


History Park

In the North side of Bandung City Hall, behind the Mayor building there are History Park. There are profile of former and working mayor written in glass. This area is really clean and fresh because there are Cikapayang river branch and a kids pool.

These pool are totally free of charge so feel free if you want to take your little brother or cousin to go swimming, but the pool is in a open place so maybe you will get seen by people passing by the streets.

Taman Dewi Sartika//Dewi Sartika Park

In the south side of Bandung City Hall there are Dewi Sartika Park. Just like the name of the park there are a head statue of Indonesia heroine Dewi Sartika. At the end of dewi sartika park there are Bandung tour on bus terminal. If you want to ride the bandros bus you can buy the ticket here, the fee is Rp. 20.000.

At the west side of the park there are a mini zoo. The mini zoo contain several species of bird, chicken , and bunny in a cage. Tourist can take a photo of it and share it to their social media account. 

Taman Badak/Rhino Park

If you move to the north from Dewi Sartika park there are rhino park. There are a pool with fountain in it and above it there are a statue of rhino with white body. The myth is this downtown area used to be a place for the white rhino to take a bath or swimming. This area is really fresh and pollutant free because this area have a lot of tree in it.

Near the white rhino park there are the love padlock cage, so the love padlock cage is a place for couple to write their name in a padlock, and then put it in the cage. Stating that their love will last forever. 

Dove Park

In the center of Bandung City Hall there are the dove park. In the dove park we can found a white dove statue similar of the white rhino statue. This area is really fresh,pollutant free,calm, and clean, because this area have many large tree in it.

In the Dove park area, there are a lovely labyrinth with a large tree in the center and around it. This area became a photo spot for instagram because of the beautiful and aesthetic view. 


You can visit Bandung City Hall for just walking, talking, playing, or doing a homework with your friend, And it free of charge so you don't to worry about money. It really have a good view, fresh air, and a green environment.

My Last Holiday

Last Holiday, between December and January. Mostly, I was just staying at home playing games, watching television, and reading some books. In the beginning of the holiday there was still an event at my school that called 'Dewa Athena' or the goddess of Athena in English. It's like a sport competition between classes, the even included many sport branch like basketball, soccer, badminton, and softball. Unfortunately, my class didn't win any of the game branch. But, i believe we already did our best about it. After the sport event is finished, i completely stayed in my home playing some games and reading some books and i remember because i was  already bored playing the same game everyday, my mom took me to the government library that located in Seram street number 2. Summer Carnival is an annual event that filled with many activities and competition. In this event you can enjoy your summertime with your friends,family, even with your partner.
